After writing the big Clancy novel and other side projects, I decided to work on my own big thriller novel. I spent a few years researching this book, which included a trip up to the Sig Sauer Academy in New Hampshire to be trained by Navy SEALs and Force Recon Marines. The book is a love letter to the Marine Corps and has received incredible endorsements. Politics aside, even the NRA's magazine reviewed the book, which I'll tell you really boosted sales. • Military Authenticity: Telep collaborated closely with and received endorsements from Marine veterans, including legendary technical advisor and actor Captain Dale Dye (who worked on Saving Private Ryan).

• A "Stand-alone" Work: Following his extensive collaborations with Tom Clancy on properties like Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon, Telep wrote this as a completely standalone, original action-adventure novel.
